On April 22, Christopher Medina was arrested by Nassau County Police for stealing almost $11,000 worth of bike parts then selling it on eBay.
Christopher Medina, 20, of Willowood Drive in North Wantagh is accused of stealing $10,800 worth of bike parts from Brand’s Cycle and Fitness, 1966 Wantagh Avenue. After stealing the various bike parts Medina would sell them on the online auction website eBay.com. Medina was an employee at Brand’s for about 4 years. According to Brand’s they have a staff of between 60 and 110 (seasonally) employees.
Medina was arraigned on Wednesday, April 23, in First District Court, Hempstead. He faces a 3rd degree Grand Larceny charge, a class D felony.
