Merrick’s Dina Lohan wins Top Mom Award

Yesterday, May 6, Dina Lohan, mother of actress Lindsay Lohan, won an award for Long Island’s “Top Mom” of 2008.

Mingling Moms, a Westbury Organization, just announced their 2008 Top 20 Long Island Mothers of Celebrities. Last night, North Merrick’s Dina Lohan, 45, was given the honor of Long Island’s “Top Celebrity Mom” at Carlyle on the Green in Bethpage State Park. At the dinner Lohan said her daughter should always be honest and even talked of her own mom Ann, also of Merrick. The dinner was also held to benefit breast cancer research.

Other Long Island mothers on the list include; Jennifer Lopez, Marge Brinkley (Christie Brinkley), Patricia Vian (Mariah Carey), Eileen Connolly (Kevin Connolly), Ann Iris Guttenberg (Steve Guttenberg), Amy Hughes (Sarah Hughes), Roslind Nyman (Billy Joel) Joan Krystosek (Michael Kors), Rosalie Macchio (Ralph Macchio), Lillian Robinson (Eddie Murphy), Portia Patterson (Gov. David Paterson), Shelley Stevens Herschlag (Natalie Portman), Betty Seinfeld (Jerry Seinfeld), Rae Stern (Howard Stern) and Carol Baldwin (the 4 Baldwin brothers).
