Levittown dispute ends with a Gunshot
Yesterday, May 14, a heated argument between two men ended quickly when one of the men pulled out a handgun and fired a shot.
On Wednesday, Joseph Digorga, 37, of 1142A Hicksville Road in Massapequa, argued with a 17 year-old on North Jerusalem Road in Levittown. During the argument Digorga pulled out a handgun, and pressed it up against the teens head. The teen fought Digora for the weapon; as the two were fighting over control of the gun, one shot was released. The bullet struck the 17 year-old’s home. No other injuries reported.
Digorga was arraigned today on the charges of criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of firearm and reckless endangerment.
Joseph Digorga was also arrested last year in Suffolk for for Sale of Alcohol without a License and Permitting Unlicensed Security Guards at rave party in Copiague. To read the press release from that incident click here www.co.suffolk.ny.us/police/pressrelease/prview.aspx?prid=96&year=2007&id=ter
