Today, May 5, New York Governor David A. Paterson returned to his hometown of Hempstead. Paterson also made a stop in Merrick to visit a blind student at Chatterton Elementary.

Congressman Peter T. King (R, NY-3) may run for Governor in 2010. King has been talking with local and state party leaders to see if a run could be successful. The congressman says he is seriously considering a run but will not decide until after the fall elections.
